...I'm a little bigger now, but not much.
What can I tell you about me? Well, I'm a forty-something married lady living in Pointe Claire, Quebec. There are things in life that are special to me, so that is basically the reason for this site.
The best of life is when I can be creative in my endeavours. So, it seems that most of what occupies my time, revolves around creativity.
- For work, I have my own company, Genesis Fontier Designs, which specializes in website design.
For pleasure, it would be my hobby, miniatures. I've had a number of hobbies over the years, but this hobby manages to encompass everything I love to do, only in one-twelfth scale. I can paint, knit, crochet, build, do needlework, and design in life-size, but when I scale it down to one-twelfth, that's where I truly begin to have fun.
- I love colour! Deep, rich, vibrant colours. Pehaps this is because of my North American Indian heritage, as my mother was Métis. Whatever the reason, colour is an important part of my life and it shows in just about everything I do.
- I love my faith, my husband and my three wonderful, little dogs. You can read more about the five of us and our famlies on the Family part of my website.
- I also love my home and what it represents to me. I am, without a doubt, very much a home person.
- I don't especially like to travel for long periods of time. Nor do I like bright sunshine and hot days. I don't like a noisy environment, and I also don't like it when people lie, cheat, steal or act mean.
- I do like to go camping. I do like taking long walks at night, and I happen to think walking in the rain is just great.
- Eating potato chips is one of my terrible weaknesses. My favourite colour is red. I think one of the best movies ever made is The Big Chill. And thank goodness antibiotics were developed.
- And finally, I have been blessed in more ways than I can count, and I thank God for that.
